The machine shop is fully equipped to design and build medical devices or modify existing equipment. Located at Princess Margaret, the shop charges for services at a very competitive rate compared to outside facilities. The facility is supervised by Matthew Filleti.
Manufacturing by: computer controlled machining, conventional
machining, 3D printing, sheet metal and welding
Design by: Solidworks and Mastercam. Virtually any design
software can be accommodated.

Tungsten inert gas (TIG), metal inert gas (MIG) and ARC

Open to academic and external users.
Shop staff can work to specifications supplied to us, or the
shop can create an engineered solution for you.
Quotes can be provided.
UHN projects will be charged to an approved functional cost
centre. All other projects will be invoiced.
